Mechanical behavior of composite based on cement reinforced with of vegetables fiber

Abstract

This work presents the results of an experimental program relating to the mechanical behavior of vegetables fibers and cement-based composites reinforced with these fibers. The composites presented a strain softening behavior with the formation of only one crack.
