About Us

The Journal of Research in Engineering Science (JRES) is an annual scientific publication that, since 2016, has disseminated original and unpublished research in Spanish and English across all areas of engineering. Our mission is to promote the advancement of technical and scientific knowledge, strengthening the link between research, technology transfer, and professional practice.

We publish articles derived from scientific and technological research in:

  • Food Engineering, Agroindustrial, Chemical, Environmental, Agricultural, Civil, Industrial, and Mechanical Engineering.
  • Bioprocesses, Biotechnology, and Materials Engineering.
  • Renewable Energy, Applied Thermodynamics, Heat and Mass Transfer.
  • Automation, Control, Instrumentation, and Dynamic Systems Modeling.
  • Technological Innovation and Sustainable Processes.
  • Applications of Artificial Intelligence, Numerical Modeling, and Computational Analysis.

Main focus: modeling, simulation, design, and experimental analysis of systems related to engineering, production processes, sustainability, and technological innovation.

 

Audience

University professors, undergraduate and graduate students, researchers, and members of research and development centers.

 

Types of Articles Accepted

  • Full Research Article (up to 10,000 words).
  • Short Article (up to 3,000 words).
  • Reflection Article.
  • Review Article (minimum 50 references).

 

Ethics and Transparency

  • Compliance with COPE guidelines.
  • Ethical and legal declaration.
  • Transparent use of AI tools.
  • Originality verification (Turnitin).

 

Submission Process

  • Through Open Journal System (OJS).
  • Suggest two peer reviewers (one international).
  • DOI assigned to every published article.
