Fertilizer application of three organic Beta vulgaris L. (Beet) under the context of urban agriculture in the city of Bogotá

Abstract

There was realized a comparison of the efficiency of three fertilizers of organic origin: compost tea, Humus tea and super Broth four versus Witness (waters down) in the vegetable species: Beet in two of eight environmental territories of the city of Bogota, (Salitre river basin, Tunjuelo river basin). Design was used a randomized complete block with a factorial (3x2) where the first factor relates to the fertilizer user and the second one to the environmental territories. There measured up the productivity obtained in the fresh total weight of the eatable part. The results showed that the species studied, and in different environmental territories there is enough statistical evidence to suggest that the best fertilizer is the Humus Tea.
