Optimization time of harvest seeds (Brachiaria hybrid cv. CIAT BRO2 / 1752) Yacaré in field conditions

Abstract

For data analysis Generalized Linear Mixed Model with repeated measures over time we were used. The experiment aimed to determine the most favorable for harvesting seeds of Brachiaria hybrid cv time. I Yacaré. Treatments consisted of measuring the number of seeds and germination percentage. These yield components were measured at 7, 11, 15, 19, 23, 27 and 31 days after anthesis has occurred. It was learned that the most favorable for seed harvest time was between 15 and 19 days after anthesis, which was reflected in the number of filled seeds shelled and germination, which is a practical recommendation for producers and researchers. It is recommended to test the hybrid in other environments in the country, where the seed activity of pasture and forage working to extend these studies to other species and varieties of grasses. Incorporate the results into teaching undergraduate and graduate.
