Abstract
This paper exposes the design of a mechatronic system of banana osmodehydration to take advantage of fruit losses due to phenomena such as oxidation and overproduction. The design was based on the methodology developed by Dieter, G. which establishes six methodological steps; recognition of the need, identification of the problem, collection of information, conceptualization, evaluation and communication of the design. The general disposition of the different components was determined from the capacity to support loads of the different materials contemplating the requirements established by the final user. Likewise, the responses obtained from the PID controller based on the second method of Zigler Nichols, do not provide relevant variations to the system, so it must be used with the presence of a compensator.Downloads
