El Volumen 11 – Edición Especial de Revisiones (2026) del Journal of Research in Engineering Sciences reúne una selección curada de artículos de revisión que ofrecen una visión integral, actualizada y crítica sobre los avances recientes en diversas ramas de la ingeniería. Este número especial tiene como objetivo sintetizar el estado del arte, las tendencias emergentes, los desafíos actuales y las oportunidades futuras en áreas estratégicas como Ingeniería de Alimentos, Ingeniería Agroindustrial, Ingeniería Ambiental, Ingeniería Civil, Ingeniería Industrial, Ingeniería Mecatrónica y otras disciplinas afines.
Esta edición especial constituye una referencia fundamental para investigadores, profesionales, docentes y estudiantes, ya que consolida conocimientos clave mediante revisiones sistemáticas, narrativas y de alcance (scoping reviews) desarrolladas por autores con amplia trayectoria en cada campo. Los artículos incluidos aportan análisis profundos sobre tecnologías emergentes, innovaciones científicas, metodologías aplicadas y perspectivas interdisciplinarias que fortalecen el desarrollo académico e industrial del sector ingenieril.

About Us
The Journal of Research in Engineering Science (JRES) is an annual scientific publication that, since 2016, has disseminated original and unpublished research in Spanish and English across all areas of engineering. Our mission is to promote the advancement of technical and scientific knowledge, strengthening the link between research, technology transfer, and professional practice.

We publish articles derived from scientific and technological research in:
- Food Engineering, Agroindustrial, Chemical, Environmental, Agricultural, Civil, Industrial, and Mechanical Engineering.
- Bioprocesses, Biotechnology, and Materials Engineering.
- Renewable Energy, Applied Thermodynamics, Heat and Mass Transfer.
- Automation, Control, Instrumentation, and Dynamic Systems Modeling.
- Technological Innovation and Sustainable Processes.
- Applications of Artificial Intelligence, Numerical Modeling, and Computational Analysis.
Main focus: modeling, simulation, design, and experimental analysis of systems related to engineering, production processes, sustainability, and technological innovation.

Types of Articles Accepted
- Full Research Article (up to 10,000 words).
- Short Article (up to 3,000 words).
- Reflection Article.
- Review Article (minimum 50 references).

Submission Process
- Through Open Journal System (OJS).
