Abstract
The purpose of this article is to describe two management models for water administration, one used in Buenos Aires city and other in Bogota city, with reference both to Río de la Plata and Rio Bogota making an analysis of two governance models of water administration, in the same way to study the social participation in matters of water administration in those jurisdictions and to identify the strengths and weaknesses of public legal bodies in matters of water management conflicts, taking into account that both capital cities have social and environmental specific environmental conditions, but that their environmental context, geographical area, administration and political frame configurations of both rivers are highly in contrast.Downloads
