Abstract

This chapter seeks to establish a national and international regulatory framework for the rights of victims in the different procedures, recognizing their powers and limits in each system. Based on a legal and jurisprudential route, the evolution of the victim and their participation in order to reach a clear and express centrality in the proceedings before the Special Jurisdiction for Peace is evident. As a methodology, an investigation was developed based on the information obtained from the jurisprudential and doctrinal analysis, which allowed a description, classification, interpretation and explanation of data, showing as results the progress that the figure of the victim has had within the different processes to through the identification of norms and decisions that develop it, under a type of descriptive-explanatory investigation. At the end it will seek to determine the scope of the centrality of the victims currently in Colombia.
