Bibliometric Analysis of Research at Uniagraria during the Period 2011-2024

Abstract

This study embarks on a comprehensive journey through research results from Fundación
Universitaria Agraria de Colombia (UNIAGRARIA) over recent years, employing a dual approach:
bibliometric analysis and a systematic literature review. Scopus was used to examine publications from
2014 to 2024 in which UNIAGRARIA is listed as an affiliated entity. Bibliometric analysis was conducted
using Power BI software. The bibliometric analysis identified the most influential articles, journals, countries, authors, and topics in UNIAGRARIA’s research over the past 14 years. The systematic literature review established nine key themes as fundamental factors influencing the research performance of the university foundation. Additionally, this article suggests and discusses future research directions. The findings provide valuable guidance for the UNIAGRARIA academic community, program directors, and institutional policymakers to measure research impact and develop new research projects in response to current global challenges.
