Abstract

The present article is based on an investigation that was carried out on two curing methodologies to a simple concrete, and was additionally compared with samples that are not cured. This, based on the importance of performing this procedure to ensure the proper functioning of concrete as construction material in civil engineering works. Simple compression tests were carried out in order to determine the resistance that the concrete was acquiring at different dates once its curing stage began. Parallel to this, this same test was developed to samples that are not cured to determine what percentage of deficiency would present the elements that are not subjected to this fundamental procedure in the development of a building in reinforced concrete.
