Abstract
Although there is no clear and determined theoretical corpus about Urban Agriculture, this concept brings together in practice theoretical, methodological and instrumental aspects of different disciplines of the social, economic, ecological and spatial. It is, given its transdisciplinary nature, a potential strategy of intervention on the territory oriented to the integral recovery of urban and peri-urban environments. In this context, the objective of this study was to implement urban agriculture as a pedagogical and didactic strategy for training in production and consumption of healthy foods, aimed at food security. To carry out the structuring of the proposal of the designs that could potentially be implemented as agroecological gardens and gardens, a participatory validation was carried out (with the community and the support of the professionals present in the area) in order to promote knowledge and achieve appropriation of the project by the community.
